2020 was the year of changes and difficulties, which we managed to successfully overcome. 2020 was the year when we adapted to a whole new working style, and that’s the home office, which has its ups and downs.
2020 was the year when the Deutsche Telekom Group celebrated its 25th anniversary. We’re happy and proud to be part of this big magenta family for so many reasons. To mark this event, we participated in the first virtual Christmas party of the entire group. Tim Höttges, CEO of Deutsche Telekom, had a special announcement for the magenta team, from service technicians to programmers, from the trainee to the non-tariff employees: “Deutsche Telekom is always strong when we can be there for others. And our colleagues are demonstrating this in the pandemic. We, at DT Group, have experienced, lived, and donated a great deal of public spirit and solidarity this year. That deserves respect, recognition, and applause. Therefore, the Board of Management has decided to pay out a special Corona bonus payment of EUR 500 for each employee.”
