Job Overview

Within DTSE Romania, the Digital Solutions team provides the highest quality of business solutions.

We are currently looking for talented Digitalization Expert to join our team. The Digital Solutions Team provides administrative solutions, technical solutions, and system setups with quality and innovation. It is very important that our team members take initiative to identify problems, and have the right mindset and skill set to solve them.

Job Objective

Support in the development of the digital strategy from the strategic conception to the operative; market and technology research as well as multiplier/technical contact person/consultant for topics around digitalization to ensure know-how transfer and digital progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing, coordinating, leading and evaluating digitization sub projects in quantitative/qualitative terms
  • Planing, adjusting and monitoring project resources regarding their requirements, project scopes and budgets
  • Creating marketing presentations for customers (external) and for management boards (internal)
  • Conducting conversations with customers
  • Developing and implementing concepts for digitization measures in the task area
  • Advising the business in the task area on process designs that can be automated
  • Providing support in change processes by designing and implementing measures
  • Identifying potential of improvement for process efficiencies and predicting business cases
  • Providing support for quality assurance and rollout monitoring as well as in devising draft resolutions
  • Supporting stakeholder management and committee work
  • Supervising sub project team members

Ideal candidate:

Knowledge of languages

  • German and English (business fluent)

Agile methods/ project management

  • Knowledge of the building blocks of successful IT-Project and program management
  • Knowledge of the practical approach to implementing concepts and of agile working (e.g. SAFe model)
  • Compliance with commitments and deadlines/ deadline management
  • Application of different project management tools (e.g. JIRA)

Subject-specific understanding

  • Quick grasp of key elements during customer meetings and submitting appropriate solution proposals and next steps according to use cases
  • Understanding of goals and clarity about customers impact and scope
  • Visualization and simplification of complex issues via PowerPoint according to the recipient
  • Structured approach and vision in establishing new solutions and products

Cloud Migration Engineer

Purpose of the job:

As the Cloud Migration Engineer, you will be executing the migration & transformation strategy for our customers as part of an agile migration team, headed by the Migration Architect. Among your main responsibilities will be performing migrations from On-Premises > Cloud and Cloud > Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, vmWare), utilizing the most efficient tools available. You will be also creating relevant documentation, defining and improving migration plans and processes, performing landscape deployments (both manual and automated) and validations. You will be part of an international team, where you’ll be coordinating tasks and teams during the migrations.

Your main accountabilities:

  • Perform various migrations between Clouds or from premises to Cloud based on customers’ requirements and needs, focusing on Azure, AWS, GCP, vmWare
  • Create, define and improve processes and plans related to migration
  • Optimize all onboarding scenarios for customers on private & public cloud together with 3rd party products for migration
  • Work in highly dynamic, international environment and with customer representatives in the team, while serving as the technology expert
  • Collaborate with T-systems partners such as Microsoft. Amazon and others
  • Participate in the roadmap implementation and feedback to the product team
  • Directly communicate with end customers to discuss possibilities of migration, transformation and their optimal designs

Your desired profile:

  • English – advanced / German – advanced (advantage)
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience with public cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP), with basic certification
  • Understanding of migration concepts and migration tooling (Azure Migrate, AWS CloudEndure etc)
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and automation possibilities (Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible, SaltStack)
  • Some experience with Agile tooling and processes (Jira, Kanban, Scrum methodology)
  • General ICT skills (Network, OS, Storage, Database etc.)
  • Basic Scripting & Coding knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
  • Passion to work in a global and diverse organization and environment

Cloud Migration Architect

Purpose of the job:

As the Cloud Architect for Migration you will be responsible for ensuring the Cloud adoption strategy by defining the cloud adoption roadmap aligned with the target platform solution design, business strategies and the existing landscape environment. You will be responsible for creating the optimal migration journey by leveraging TSI standards as well as cloud native tooling and processes. You will be also contributing to creation and improvement of the migration scenarios, set of best practices, and leveraging Zero Touch approach wherever possible.  As Cloud Architect, it will be in your responsibility to manage the engagement with cloud service providers (Microsoft, Google, Amazon, vmWare) through the build and run phases to ensure that customer achieves maximum value from cloud initiatives and services

Your main accountabilities:

  • Implement complex customer requirements in technical solutions in accordance with best practices, cost-efficiency and future security based on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Develop both High-Level and Low-Level design for all possible variations of migration or transformation to hybrid cloud products (private/public) based on Azure or AWS
  • Optimize all onboarding scenarios for customers on private & public cloud together with 3rd party products for migration
  • Cooperate with the product owner on the continuous development of the T-systems cloud adoption portfolio
  • Collaborate with sales on preparation of complex customer inquiries and tenders
  • Be an advisor for local and international customers on optimal cloud adoption strategies on Azure, AWS, GCP or vmWare
  • Directly communicate with end customers to discuss possibilities of migration, transformation and their optimal designs

Your desired profile:

  • English – advanced / German – advanced (advantage)
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • A deep technical understanding of public cloud technologies and practical experience in public cloud adoption and migration
  • Experience with advocating and implementing Cloud Adoption Frameworks on AWS, Azure or GCP and other meaningful best practices
  • Familiarity with application discovery tools and cloud migration software is an asset but not essential
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code is an asset but not essential
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (spoken and written English)
  • Passion to work in a global and diverse organization and environment
