Our work is about bringing people together, about sharing values and destinations. 16 European languages are (sometimes) simultaneously spoken under the same roof. Even our Air Conditioning settings differ from office to office especially when Greece meets Netherlands.
During the lunch break you can see that Spain shares lunch with Russia and everybody is friends with everybody. We are the United Nations of DTSE.
In order to broaden our conversations and strengthen our daily exchanges, our Diplomatic Program which started in January 2017 enrolls eight Ambassadors, chosen from our colleagues.
It is their mission to bring our community closer together, to make everybody feel welcome and everyone’s voice heard.
Here are the eight Ambassadors and their roles:
Cristina Ionescu
Cristina is the coordinator of this project. This means she replaces and fills all the roles of the other ambassadors in case they are away for various reasons. Cristina also opens the call for new ambassadors, interviews the candidates and selects the most suitable person.
Miruna Teodorescu
Miruna is one of the first people you meet in your first day at work. In Bucharest, Miruna will greet you with a welcome kit and she will answer your new employee questions. She will take you on a tour of the company, introduce you to the key people and organize an onboarding session for you.
Oana Găman
Same as Miruna, Oana is one of our Welcoming Ambassadors in Bucharest. She will greet you on your first day with her trademark smile and give you a tour of the company along with a welcome kit. Oana will also answer any questions you might have and she will make sure you participate in an onboarding session.
Violeta Păduraru
Violeta, our Cool Office Ambassador, joined the ranks at the beginning of 2019. She is involved in redecorating the office space, obtaining permits and licenses, negotiating budgets and making sure that everything runs smoothly.
Irina Moldoveanu
Irina has a double role, as Green Ambassador and Hospitality & Events Ambassador. She organizes our parties and other surprises. To do so she generates original ideas, asks the management for a yearly budget, finds and books venues, entertainment, catering and security. She is also responsible for promoting the events.
In addition to this, she organizes CSR initiatives according to the Deutsche Telekom Group CSR strategy.
Virgil Manolache
Virgil is also one of the newer Ambassadors. He also joined the team in January 2019. As a Sport Ambassadors he is responsible for enrolling our company in Corporate Games, organizing and promoting sport events for the employees and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Timea Kozak
Our third Welcoming Ambassador, Timea, is located in Timișoara. She will greet you with a welcome kit and she will answer your questions.
Apart from this role she is also the Digital Communication Ambassador. This means, Timea is responsible for the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high quality content on all our social media platforms. In addition to that she creates and shares the internal Newsletter. She also identifies and promotes organizational aspects that improve the online Employer Branding perception.
Lorena Jurchela
Lorena is the most beloved ambassador because she organizes our parties and other surprises. She is located in Timișoara, where she generates original ideas, asks the management for a yearly budget, finds and books venues, entertainment, catering and security. She is also responsible for promoting the events.
